Dr. Peter Allen Dodzik, PhD

I took my 92 year old father to see Dr. Dodzik for a neuropsych evaluation not long ago as he's having some short term memory issues. Dr. Dodzik was rude during the interview with us. Then his assistant did testing with my father for about 45 minutes. My brother took my parents to the follow up appointment and Dr. Dodzik told them that my father doesn't have dementia or Alzheimer's. He suggested he take some different medications. I took my father to his neurologist to check if she agreed that he should take the medicine that Dr. Dodzik provided. I brought her a copy of the report and when I printed it out read that Dr. Dodzik wrote in the report my father probably has Alzheimer's. After a short test with his neurologist it was clear he does not have Alzheimer's. The neurologist also recommended he doesn't take the medication that Dr. Dodzik recommended. Dr. Dodzik has one job and he didn't do it. My mother who has been married to my father for over 60 years was in tears our… whole way to the neurologist after reading the report that her husband probably has Alzheimer's and so confused as to why he didn't tell them that in the follow up appointment. Shame on you Dr. Dodzik for so carelessly doing your "job". Would not recommend at all.

Did thorough neuropsych evaluation for my teen which shed a lot of light on diagnosis and informed medication recommendations. Gave solid advice on next steps for school and medication. Highly recommend. Also, office is fair in pricing, doctors are smart and want the best for you and your family.

Wonderful doctor. Very intelligent. Gave me great feedback after evaluating my child.

I am also completely shocked at the negative review of Dr. Dodzik. I have been seeing him with my son on the spectrum for 9 years now. He answers all e-mails, usually within 24 hours and every single time I need something it gets done. He has been extremely helpful over the years and has gone above and beyond with assisting me in getting things my son needs, whether from the school system, therapists or insurance. I drive an hour and a half each way just to see Dr. Dodzik.

Wow!! After reading that terrible review on this site, I felt compelled to write this about Dr. Dodzik. I have been seeing Dr. Dodzik for YEARS with my one son and now my other son just recently. I mean I don't see him every day or every week, but he is my "Go To Doctor" when it comes to my children that are on the spectrum or have learning issues. Both my kids have ADHD & one has Aspergers. Every once in awhile, we have to go see Dr. Dodzik for an evaluation, for IEP's, up coming school changes, my son simply getting older, etc. He is the BEST!! He truly is not a big telephone returner, BUT he ALWAYS ... ALWAYS gets back by email... ALWAYS!! Truly, there must be a mistake with that past review. The office personal is AMAZING!! The front area has a beautiful therapy dog that belongs to Dr. Watson (another AMAZING DOCTOR) which my son LOVES to lay on the floor and just decompress before heading back for his appointment. I can not say enough GREAT things about this… place. I have NEVER... not once - seen or heard of anything but greatness here, truly. Dawn Iversen

Constantly interrupts you when answer his questions. Will not respond to emails, still waiting on daughters written evaluation, which is desperately needed for her school. Has interns in all meetings and interns do the evaluation. Becomes highly defensive and slightly confrontational when confronted and asked why he is not handling the evaluation His interns fail to give the appropriate directions during an evaluation and he does not evaluate nor monitor the interns during the evaluation they are providing. Unfortunately, his office was the only office that contacted me back in a timely manner when I was requesting an evaluation for my daughter. Next step is to file a formal complaint with the board and with my insurance company.

Nice man. A little odd. Never returns phone calls!
