Dr. Peter Duros, MD

Never feels like he spends enough time in the room for me to say everything I need to about my symptoms. Always feels rushed and like he wants to get me out as fast as possible. Had to argue to get him to send me to a specialist after 6 months of steroids to treat a skin condition that wouldn’t go away with steroids.

Dr. Duros is the best doctor I’ve ever had. He is very thorough and has a pleasant chair side manner. I know when I go there he is going to get to the root of any problem I have. I trust him because he is very knowledgeable with many years of experience, and always knows what is best for me.

Was taken to the patient room promptly. Dr. Duros was very polite and helpful. He discussed my lab results which has shown improvement. He also suggested a pneomovax injection. Ex's were refilled and I was on my way home. Very pleasant and organized visit.

Dr Duros was recommended to me by my rheumatologist after I moved to Utah 5 years ago. I have Crohn’s Disease and Ankylosing Spondylitis and see a lot of specialists. Dr Duros is intelligent and caring, and considerate of all of the difficult issues that accompany my illnesses. He does a great job with watching the diagnostic testing results ordered by my specialists and helps me to not have repeated or unnecessary diagnostics which is easy to happen when a patient sees many physicians. He is the BEST PCP and I am a RN and I am very picky about my physicians. He’s wonderful and has a really awesome staff.

Several (oh so many) more phone calls to his office to try and get grandma’s lab results. No one will call us back. It’s been 12 days now. She’s not doing well and Dr. Duros’ office doesn’t seem to care.

My 94 yr old grandmother has been with Dr. Duros for approximately 3 months. She has seen him once for an initial visit, once for a UTI, and has had a recent lab visit ordered by him. Our infrequent interaction with him, while pleasant enough, has been dramatically outweighed by the disappointing, potentially harmful, neglect of his office and medical staff. While awaiting results of her resent lab visit, which has exceeded 8 days as of this post, my grandmother has continued to be ravaged by symptoms of an infection. I haven’t been able to get the office staff, nurses, OR the Revere Health Internal Administrator to call us back with options. In May, while preparing to leave town for an extended period of time, I worked to have a doctor order sent for Home Health assistance. Once again, we waited for an inordinate amount of time to have the matter resolved...which seemed to only happen once I placed multiple frustrated phone calls. Again, when I asked for prescription… information to be passed on to her new care facility, I was only able to procure the needed documentation by walking into the office and letting them know I wasn’t leaving without it. I’m unsure where the procedural breakdown is happening. But, part of taking care of a patient should include responding in a timely manner with genuine care. It should not require bullying or threats from the patient’s family. We are beyond dissatisfied.
