I will happily share today's experience going through my required mammogram, and sonogram at the Warren Rd. Imagining Center. I wish I could give you the names of the mammography technician and the sonogram technician. They were wonderfully careful, kind, friendly and technically excellent. Over the past 18 years I have had three rounds of DCIS surgery with radiation, so my required exams are lengthy and frequent. Last year I needed a breast MRI due to the increasing density of the surgically affected breast. But my experiences at CMC Imaging have always been reassuring and excellent. Today the radiography physician was Dr. Dvorak. He requested additional slides during the mammogram and he spent a good bit of time with the sonogram technician when she had concluded her imaging. Then he came into the room to speak with me in clear, detailed, informative statements about what he found and why he asked for additional films. He listened patiently to my questions and supported my… freedom to make decisions regarding my breast care going forward. I came away reassured, educated and respected. Now this is my usual experience at Cayuga Medical, and why I always put my medical care in their hands.
