Dr. Peter Webster Emery, MD

Dr. Emery has been my doctor for a number of years. He is an excellent doctor, and kind and compassionate. He is very patient, professional and explains things so that you understand what is going on. He's right on with diagnosis. He's just a great doctor on all levels.

Dr Emery correctly diagnosed a rare condition that only became apparent through a routine blood test. He spends the time listening to you, and is easy to contact via their web portal with f/u questions. I think because he is such an excellent diagnostician, he does not refer you for unending tests.

The surprise is how much time Dr. Emery spends with me. I am healthy with (knock wood) little health issues, but Dr. Emery spends a solid hour with me on my routine annual exam. He takes time to explain things, he's reassuring, he's thoughful and he's informed of the latest medical literature. When a recent study came out on hypertension, he knew about it and was able to give excellent perspective on the study. Excellent doctor, very good group.

Dr. Emery is my patient and my son's patient. I am an aging boomer and find Dr. Emery to be professional straightforward, thoughtful, he speaks to me at my level. He spends time on issues that need time. He is very responsive to between visit calls. My son is a young adult with autism. Dr. Emery is very respectful of his disabilities and has a wonderful manner with my son. If ever a complex question arises, he looks into it and gets back promptly. Recommended highly for quality of care and compassion.
