Dr. Peter Paul Filozof, MD

No I would not. I had big surgery last week and it is like he didn’t know me. He most not know the meds I was on. The hospital and everyone else did. He is not apart of Camden Clark hospital. I didn’t get any good pain meds and the other ones are dangerous if I took them. I couldn’t get ahold of him all week. So never again. He is not even a one to me.

Dr. Filozof is an amazing doctor but that being said it is hard to go to a doctor that has such a rude office staff. None are friendly, except the ultrasound tech. They constantly make you feel like you're being bothersome.

I went for my first appointment and I had to wait a very long time. They had 3 others scheduled at the same time they had me scheduled and only saw one patient at a time. The staff and nurses were VERY rude. Once I finally got into the room a nurse came in and asked me two questions then rushed me out the door and told me to schedule another appointment.

The first time I went to make an appointment after figuring out I’m pregnant the person on the phone was very rude and hung up on me. I wasn’t mad at first bc I figured maybe she was having a bad day. I waited a week and called back to schedule an appointment again and got the appointment. The nurse was rude and rushed things. I have also been very sick vomiting non stop and had bleeding so I had to go to the ER more times than I can count to get an IV. When I called to see if I could get medicine from filizofs office they said they would call me back and then never did. I waited a few days and called again to ask, they said they would have a nurse call back. The nurse called back but was very very rude and unprofessional and laughed at me on the phone when I told her I couldn’t keep anything down and kept asking me “Do you not understand what I’m saying?”. After that I switched to a different doctor. Also NEVER got my first ultrasound pictures. Never going there again. Filizof is… probably a great doctor but never seen him, only his rude nurses which made my experience horrible.

He's very personable and will take the time his patients deserve to give them exemplary care. He has an incredible bed side manner. I strongly recommend him for excellent medical care.

I really like Dr Filozof but his nurse tends to talk down to me. He needs a more friendly compassionate support staff

I was hospitalized and Dr. F came to see me and asked me to reschedule my ultra sound appointment. I called in and told his staff everything they needed to know. After waiting the nurse came back and then discovered I was pregnant, walked out and left me there. After five more minutes she came back booted me from the room, spoke to me like I was a child and I now have to wait another 3 weeks to get my ultra sound. All of his staff I met were belittling, and rude. Dr. F as a doctor was great! He simply needs a change of staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Filozof's going on 2 years. I began seeing him during a time I was having some pretty scary medical issues. During that time I dealt with both Dr.F & Melissa...they are a great team and are very thorough. ..they made sure to take the time and explain everything which made me feel more comfortable and confident with my life in their hands. Also, knowing how worried I was about medical testing Dr. F didn't wait til a week day to call with my results. ..he called me on a Saturday from his home. Now I am expecting a little bundle of joy and could not imagine anyone else bringing my child into this world. I have been to several other OBGYN in this area and every single office I've been to I've had to wait in waiting rooms for quite some time...which can be irritating, but for the quality of care I have received...he is worth the wait....great bedside manner, great personality, sense of humor & above all GREAT doctor!!!

Dr. Filizof is kind and thorough, but always runs really behind. His staff are cold and unfriendly. Overall, I don't recommend him because his staff makes zero effort to make the patients feel comfortable.

I've been going to Dr. Filozof for 4 years. I seen him for my annuals, to get birth control, when I was dieting and taking diet pills, and now I'm seeing him because I'm pregnant. He is hands down the very best doctor I have ever been to and I'd highly recommend him to anybody! He's very polite and can make anybody laugh. He's always sure to answer your questions fully and get you taken care of. His receptionist can be a little frisky but himself and his nurses are the most polite and respectful people you could ever imagine! Wait time usually depends on the day of course. I usually have to wait at least 30 minutes because he's always getting called to deliver babies but that just goes to show how many other girls trust and confine in him! Love Dr. Filozof and think that ANY and EVERY girl should get to meet him!
