Peter Flueckiger, MD

Dr. Peter Flueckiger is a cardiovascular disease specialist with 15 years of experience caring for patients with heart and blood vessel conditions. He earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, where he also completed his internal medicine residency and internship. Dr. Flueckiger further specialized his training through a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2017. He provides care in English to patients throughout the Atlanta area.

Dr. Flueckiger practices at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and sees patients in Atlanta, Georgia. He treats patients with high cholesterol, including children and teens, as well as those with hypertension and hyperlipidemia. His expertise includes performing contrast echocardiography and transthoracic echocardiograms to evaluate heart function. He also utilizes CT angiogram technology to assess blood vessel health and diagnose cardiovascular conditions.
