Dr Peter Giammanco has more knowledge then any doctor you will ever meet. I am a nurse and it was he who inspired me 40 years ago. He is up with the times and is compassionate !! He is always correct in diagnosis . He treats the young to the old and is always right! He diagnosed my neice , who was near death and saved her . He also saves my husband . He has been my family doctor since birth . He just gets better with time and that is the truth ! I’ve dealt with every specialist in every Pennsylvania hospital and NOONE compared to Dr Peter Giammanco . He is another “ Patch Adams” and a true gift to this world and to medicine .

I have been a patient @ this office for the past five years and not only is the Dr unprofessional so are his staff!! When I would call for an appointment for an antibiotic for bronchitis, I'd have to wait WEEKS to see him and argue with staff to get an appointment. He's always confused, never remembers what medication your taking, doesn't bother paying attention when your explaining your needs. His staff talk about him saying he's nuts and that he never returns their calls let alone a patient's calls. I went to him for acute anxiety and sleep deprivation, his answer was "give it to God!" Pray more!! I made several complaints about this Dr in the past few yrs. I tried going to other doctors nearby but couldn't bc very few took my insurance. I was told by Dr Giammanco that he was going to stop taking my insurance bc " he doesn't make any $ on me!" Most recently he discharged me from his practice making some disparaging comments about me to which I will be filing a lawsuit should he not… remove these comments from my records.

My primary Doctor left the practice, so I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Giammanco. I waited 6 weeks for the appointment, but that is not the bad part of the experience when I finally got to his office I checked in around 4:45 for a 5:00 appointment and I waited until nearly 7:30. I was never called into the examination room, never seen the doctor. So I decided after 2 1/2 hours that I've waited long enough. I asked for a refund of my co pay fee., but was told they couldn't do it because the original receptionist who logged me in was gone and they didn't have her pass code. This was not just a waste of 2 1/2 hours, it was also a waste of the six weeks it took to get into an appointment with this doctor. This is not how a patient should be treated and Temple should be ashamed of how this experience transpired. Now I need to find another primary, most liekly with another practice and will probably end up waiting a few for a appointment.

I have been going to Dr. Pete for about 20 years. Dr Pete is a very compassionate and caring doctor. He makes you feel better with his witty personality even though you are sick. He spends quality time with you on every visit and you can feel the compassion he has. I have trusted all the decisions he has made for my health all these years because I know that if he doesn't know exactly what the problem is he will send me to someone who can help me and he will follow up on me until I am treated and feeling better. He is a doctor of great quality and I thankyou Dr. Pete for the many years of great service!

When the famous specialists at 2 of the major Philadelphia medical school hospitals could not help me, Dr Giammanco diagnosed me and treated me successfully. Not once but 3 times. Clearly he is one doctor who cares about his patients. I sometimes have to wait a bit to see him but he always spends time and does not rush me out the door. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Do yourself a favor and make him your doctor.

My family has been a patient of Dr Pete's for 30 plus years. He is a very caring person, and cares about his patients. I love going in there especially around the holidays, you never know what he is going to be wearing,but you know its going to be holiday related. I couldnt stop laughing when he would come in the room with his holiday related attire on. Dr Pete you are the best.

I needed an emergency appointment and someone within his practice was able to see me within a day. Dr. G. is my medical doctor and I like him very much. He really cares about hnis patients. He asks me the right questions to figure out what's wrong. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Pete has been treating me for well over 20 years, a number of younger sisters, and my parents, I am 56 year old male. He treats and takes interest in a person as a whole. It is not uncommon to see multiple family members come in together. If he only needs to spend only 5 or 10 minutes with you (like a quick followup if every thing is OK), just the same he will spend litterly as long as needed to satisfy himself as well as you. I think he greatest attributes are, he sence of humor and true concern for his patients well-being. If he feels you should see a specialist he not afraid to send you to one. You almost always hear him coming down the hall because of that great upbeat laugh. He is a family man, loves kids and commonly treats entire family's. Like I said he treats the person as a whole, besides treating the problems. I have never heard anyone say a negative comment, if fact the opposite, nothing but praise for him. He is very busy and getting a regular appointment may… be a little bit of a wait, but if its important or serious he will have you come in that day or the next at the end of his regular hours and then wait, but he is well worth it. Doctor Pete, the best is the best.
