Dr. Peter W Heald, MD

Although I love this office and the other physicians in this office, Dr. Heald is the WORST Doctor I have ever seen. We were trying to figure out what was wrong with my infant daughter's skin. He looked at her for 30 seconds at most and diagnosed her with a terminal skin disorder. When I asked him for more information, he said, "google it." I immediately took her to a different office and they diagnosed her with a case of eczema caused by a sensitivity to milk.

Good Derm all around. Treated my actinic keratoses quickly and painlessly. Good manners and speaks in terms you can understand.

Great doctor, very helpful and caring. Wish i leaved in Connecticut would have all my services here.

I saw Dr. Heald at a skin cancer screening at New Milford Hospital and was very impressed with him. He took the time to talk with me about my concerns and surprised me with an accurate observation about something unrelated to dermatology.He was wearing some sun-protective clothing so that he could show patients an alternative way to protect their clothing that doesn't require lots of chemicals in a bottle. I thought that was a very thoughtful thing to do and something that none of the other dermatologists had done in all the years I've been to the annual skin cancer screenings. All the while he was looking at my many moles he was explaning what he was seeing and giving me a little bit of an education.He's a great communicator and is very personable and good with patients. If I have a need to see a dermatologist, he will be the one I see.
