Excellent man, very understanding, made me feel very comfortable with my procedure.

I work with Dr. Herbig in Beckley WV as far as any Anesthesiologist or CRNA goes he is the best when it comes to communicating with his patients and staff alike.

Not a very outgoing anesthesiologist. Seems like he's hoping you won't ask questions because when you do, he seems to give a roundabout answer and doesn't know what to say. He almost seems to have a nervous demeanor as if he's more on the shy side hoping to avoid conversation.

This was my first time having surgery and I was scared. Dr. Herbig seemed in a hurry and was quick to give me anesthesia without explaining it that well. I woke up in recovery and asked for the anesthesiologist I had earlier and they said he already left for the day. I as a first timer was scared and he could've explained my anesthesia options better and been available to me afterwards. Poor bedside manner. Smiles at the years but has a hurry up bedside manner with his patients.
