Never again will I see this doctor!

I saw Dr. Hill for intense neck/back/head pain. I waited over 2 hours to see him, I was his last patient of the day. I would of rescheduled if I wasn’t desperate to see someone. My primary doctor was out on vacation and he was the only doctor with availability. I explained to him my symptoms (intense pain in my neck running down my arm, unable to turn my neck left, numbing in my face). He told me to get a massage and that there was nothing he could do for me. When I told him a massage wouldn’t fix this (I’m unable to even wear a bra the pain is so intense) he got within inches of my face and said “Don’t you know we are in an opioid crisis, I can’t do anything for your pain”. He ended up prescribing me Advil 800mg. I left the office sobbing crying, I have never been so disrespected by a physician. I would of complained right then and there if I wasn’t the only person in the office since he was so late to my appointment. I saw my primary about a week after I saw Dr. Hill because the pain… was only increasing. She prescribed nerve medication and something stronger than Advil (diclofenac sodium) that is not a opioid and is to help the inflammation within my neck. She also sent an urgent request for an MRI of my neck and an MRI of my brain, I also will be seeing a neurologist next week. Dr. Hill told me to get a massage. DO NOT see this doctor for anything other than the common cold.

Dr Hill is great. He has a sincere interest in your well being. I feel though that the Northwestern system of medicine puts a restraint on his practice; too many patients to see and everything has to be input in the computer every time I have a checkup. Not his fault of course; I chalk up his experience and professionalism and believe he is the best In that practice. He's followed up on my questions on MyChart very promptly and satisfactorily.

A great dedicated physician. I have been seeing him for checkups for over 15 years.

I find Dr. HIll very professional in manner and accurate in diagnosis. I was also very impressed that he would dispense knowledge and suggestions to use specific vitamins or generics rather than writing prescriptions for medicines all the time. He seems to focus on the entire person, not just the one diagnosis.

Doctor Hill has been my primary, internal medicine physician for many years, and I am extremely fortunate to have Dr. Hill as my physician. He is just the best. He listens, he cares, he is competent, he explains matters patiently and extremely well. He is always responsive and quickly follows up. He is effective with his diagnosis. I don't know how he does it. You cannot do better than with Dr. Hill. I truly value my relationship with Doctor Hill.

whenever I request anything, even a call back about something, it takes DAYS, and I have to call multiple times

I work ibn the healthcare field as a professional and I can say that Dr. Hill was awesome, but the nurse who assisted (she was an african american) at his weekend facility was terrible. She was rude, clearly didnt want to be there (it was a sunday), and made the entire patient experience unconmfortable. she had terrible bedside manner. got a lab draw in the left AC, and she stuck me incorrectly. had a nasty contusion for 5+ days.

Peter Hill brings the best of today's knowledge but in an old school manner. He actually spends time to hear everything. He is never rushed and always cheerful. You can't do any better.

If you are lucky enough to discover Dr. Peter Hill, you'll understand why I think he is the best doctor ever. I've been using Dr. Hill for about 5 years. He is compassionate, always gets me in even if its short notice, and spends real quality time with me. I really feel like I'm being taken care of. He is conservative about over prescribing which I think is a good thing. The other doctors in his practice are equally good. As an internist, he is well qualified to see to many issues and I'm thrilled that I found him. I never feel rushed. He spends quality time and follows up to make sure that everything is on track. His a real Marcus Welby type.
