Dr. Peter Chuanyi Hou, MD

Had the worst experience with Dr. Peter Hou, he was rushing, he was not listening to the relevant patient history and ultimately he completely lacked the understanding of the complex Ob/Gyn issue that the patient presented with. I informed him that I was a physician myself hoping that he would finally start considering additional relevant information that eventually proved crucial in correctly diagnosing my wife. Instead of listening to what we had to say and addressing my concerns, he accused me of searching preferential treatment and was completely unhelpful. One of the hallmarks of a good ER doctor are truly listening to the patient/family and addressing their concerns, as well as recognizing when they need a specialist consult. Once the issue was addressed with a knowledgeable Ob/GYN she immediately acknowledged that the patient’s history was extremely relevant to the case and answered all of our questions in a satisfactory manner. Dr Peter Hou not only failed to address my… concerns but his non-existent bedside manner was needlessly upsetting for everybody involved. I have not filed a complaint with the state medical board yet but I do have do have serious concerns that Dr. Hou is providing substandard patient care.
