Peter Evan Kagan, MD

Being in need of a Vascular Surgeon, many reviews and Bios were evaluated prior to deciding that Dr. Kagan appeared to have the optimum balance of applicable surgical experience and favorable input by many other patients. I presented a significant case of PAD to Dr. Kagan which required timely attention. My initial meeting with Dr. Kagan occurred at Hackensack University Medical Center. I found Dr. Kagan to be a good listener, understanding, and within a very reasonable time frame, performed diagnostic testing in order to form the basis of proceeding with the necessary care. Additionally, Dr. Kagan's nursing and office staff made me feel welcomed to his practice from day one. A very good level of communication was realized by staff in person, via phone, and email. At this time, a well needed feeling of safety and trust has been realized after meeting Dr. Kagan and his practice is highly recommended.

Very caring and gets the job done. Had an abdominal aortic aneurysm stent put in by him a few years back, and still here! LOL! See him every year now for follow-ups. Great Doctor!

He is a skilled surgeon and wonderful person. I wish more surgeons were as caring, meticulous, and humble as Dr. Peter Kagan.

i was told to rush in, had to wait 1.5 hours just to see the doc. he came in, was with me for 2 minutes, wrote me a prescription without explaining ANYTHING, he didnt even give me the prescription, the nurse did, and it was horrible.
