Absolutely horrible experience. I was referred by my dentist to him to evaluate my molar tooth for a retreatment of a root canal. I went in, filled out paperwork that was very vague, emailed over my X-ray that my dentist took, and next thing you know he was numbing my mouth & injecting me. Without explaining or evaluating the tooth in front of me. I wasn’t explained a thing & the only thing he did explain was “this is part one because we need you to come in a 2nd time” while he was going to inject me with anesthesia so I couldn’t even ask what he was talking about. After the procedure he left & didn’t say anything. The nurse was walking out to leave too after saying I’m all done & I can rinse my mouth, but I stopped her to ask “when can I eat?” Because legit nobody explained a thing to me before or after. Then I went to the front desk & the lady at the front desk said I need to book my next appointment & I asked if they’re going to use anesthesia again & she said yes & I was so… confused for what. The lady at the front desk was nice & told me I shouldn’t eat on that side where the retreatment was done for now until I come in again & I made an appointment with her. After all of this struggle, my retreatment failed and I ended up staying overnight at the hospital 2 nights & was in the ER 4 days in total because I swole up to the point where my CT scan showed that I had swollen tonsils & lymph nodes. I could not swallow my saliva nor eat food. Even drinking soup from a straw hurt. My mouth got swollen. My jaw and neck was swollen. I had extreme pain in my tooth, my jaw, my neck, my ear, my temples, my head. The list goes on. It was throbbing and I couldn’t move my head around or my face so I couldn’t even cry properly when I was in pain. Just tears rolling down my face. Now I got an extraction done after he refused to see me back after he took a look at the swelling because he said I need to go to the ER & get an extraction. Even the people at the ER whether it was a nurse or a doctor made comments like “you need a new Endodontist” or “I wouldn’t go back to whoever did this”. I have been on soo much medication. Even morphine wasn’t helping at the ER. And now my hospital bill is going to cause me thousands of dollars. This was horrible. Please find a different Endodontist. My tooth infection has caused me extreme pain, anxiety, discomfort, trauma, time, and money as well.
