Dr. Peter Darien Kent, MD

Dr. Kent is not a doctor you want to see unless you like being treated badly. There are many reviews stating how he misdiagnoses people, mainly women, and does not believe your symptoms. I am still dealing with atrophy damage to my muscles, diagnosed by biopsy, because Dr. Kent didn’t believe my symptoms. I unfortunately didn’t go to the other doctors who diagnosed me correctly right away after he stated I only had fibromyalgia and was making up muscle weakness. The other specialists in the area couldn’t believe how he practices medicine. I should have sued him. Please go to another specialist.

Didn't listen, misdiagnosed me, and left me suffering from RA for SIX years due to blaming all my pain on fibro without so much as a test! New doc immediately did mri and had me on the right track in two visits. He dead out insulted me rather than look into my complaints. I wouldn't trust him to help an alley cat let alone a human being.

First visit

Dr. Kent was extremely professional and spent a good amount of time with me in my first appointment. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have seen Dr. Kent four times. I have never waited longer than five minutes in the waiting room and 10 min in his office. His staff is always very friendly. Dr. Kent is very thorough in his explanation, he takes time to listen to my concerns and answers all my questions. I never feel rushed and his bedside manor is superb.

Dr. Kent is fabulous! He is the first doctor that I have met with who really is concerned about me. His professionalism and 'bed side manner' is second to none. Dr. Kent always speaks to me in lay terms and will even draw diagrams if I am having difficulty in understanding what he is saying or what I am suppose to do. I have been seeing him for about 2 years now and I always feel better and more comfortable about my RA when I leave his office. He is always willing to listen and gives me the time that I need.
