Dr. Kouvatsos is a very knowledgeable and personable person who I am very thankful to have as doctor. He explains everything so I can understand and seems very interested in my wellbeing. I hope to have a long relationship with him. I am very glad I chose him as my doctor.

Outstanding practice

Dr PK has the best bedside manner that I have experienced in my years of living in different states and working with different Internal Medicine doctors I really appreciate his staff and the way that they respond to my needs when I need an appointment I am always able to get one even the day of I have been able to refer Associates to this doctor's office and they have been able to get in immediately every visit Dr PK goes over my medical history as well as my prescriptions and vitamin supplements that I take on my own it is reviewed every single time I visit the office if I am referred to anyone else such as a specialist again my medical history and my prescriptions vitamin and supplements are reviewed every single time they always listen to my concerns and respond usually within the same day I am able to communicate through the WellSpan app and they respond the same day and provide any additional documentation necessary the next day if you are receiving any complaints from this office… I beg that you really consider the source I am able to explain what I am feeling or provide experiences and I am listening to intently and I am advised appropriately and if there is anything that affects me adversely with my medication it is changed immediately to something that would be more suitable and does not conflict with any of my vitamins and supplements. I also work in public service where I never receive compliments or thank yous but they will certainly be a complaint if someone doesn't feel that they are having their questions answered to their satisfaction in most cases I find that those complaints are from people who are asking of me things that they are not privy to and legally I cannot tell them that they may or may not be privy to such information but I always direct them to the proper source. Therefore I am stressing to you again if you are receiving any complaints against Dr PK's office you are to consider the source. As the information that you are receiving in the form of a complaint more than likely is lacking the personality of the individual filing a complaint and they are not speaking clearly or asking appropriate questions but they are quick to judge when something doesn't go right for reasons that may at times be malicious. Dr PK's office where they are speaking to you it is as if they are singing a song of good cheer to lift your spirits and to let you know that they are concerned and focused on you. I even shared with Dr PK that I sing to my cat when I am rubbing her belly. Give this office the accommodation that they deserve and don't simply use my survey to just check another box in your data if you want these surveys to be successful you need to acknowledge the offices that are doing their job so that as a consumer we have reliable sources to turn to for treatment and for physicals and for annual checkups that we can feel confident are providing the service in our best interests.

My experience with Dr. Kouvatsos has been great. He and his staff are very good at making sure you have comprehensive health care. He reviews your results prior to meeting with you, and listens to any concerns prior to suggesting a plan of action. The ability to get a prescription for a UTI that seemed to start at 10 pm however was problematic. Called around 7 in the morning attempted to get through to the doctor prior to normal hours with no answer. Called at 8 when they opened, Dr. K wouldn't be in until 9, but it would be called in. I went to the pharmacy at 9 waited until 11 with no prescription called in. Called between 9 and 11 and was told he wouldn't look at prescription requests until his appts were completed. Most prescriptions that would not be a problem, but a UTI there is urgency. This process is unacceptable to me. I will probably switch facilities even though I think Dr. Kouvatsos is great.
