I sure hope this doctor has learned something since he was a Fellow because he was letting me die when I was seeing him numerous times. He refused to order a much needed TEE even after an Echocardiogram with bubbles warranted it. He knew I had a hole in my heart but said that I would need open heart surgery to fix it and he wouldn't do it because it wasn't bad enough. I could not even walk across the room without being totally out of breath it was so bad. I saw another cardiologist who found I had a PFO with a massive right to left shunt upon exertion. I had it fixed by having a device implanted through a catheter to close the hole. It was a 1 day procedure at Mass General and I was fine and went back to work. I'm sure he remembers me because I called him a Kindergarten resident in front of all his colleagues at UMASS when he refused to help me.

Takes time to help us understand his answers to our many questions. We feel confident in his judgement to treat my husbands recently diagnosed heart condition. Thank you.
