Dr. Peter Laufer, MD

best allergy doctor in the world to me. hes always been so kind to me and hes a great doctor. ive gotton a letter today saying he is retireing in aug, very sad to hear this and i will miss him very much. just very happy i got to have him as my doctor for many years. may god bless his life as he retires. you will be missed by all you have taken your time with. your a great man. seems like all the great doctors are retireing. they can never be replace by the new ones now we have to go to. these doctors showed compassion to their patients. and this i will miss. god bless you dr laufer i surely will miss you.

When my son was 6 months old, he was referred to see dr. Laufer to see if allergies were causing his skin reactions. Tge first 20 minutes of tge appointment was spent in this doctors office to ask questions, and a good 10 minutes was spent with him criticizing me for being a single mother! I have never been so belittled in my life! Now, a year and a half later, my son (now 2) went to see a different doctor for his allergy test. This doctor was livid that dr. Laufer would do a skin allergy test on a 6 month old which could have been severe for a chikd under 5. Not only that, but to also do this test while therebwas a reaction on his skin already which could have threw up reactions to something he was not even allergic to! I will never go back to this doctor again nor refer him to anyone!

Very caring and experienced!

My first appointment was great! After that I was asked the same questions and given the same advice almost as scripted. I felt that the doctor didn't even know who I was after a year!
