Dr. Peter Kisuk Lee, MD

I saw Dr. Peter Lee for the removal of a non-malignent mole on a prominent part of my face. He gave me the option of having it shaved or having it removed. I chose to have it completely removed so that it wouldn't grow back. Although the surgery itself seemed to go okay, it left a very, very ugly scar that is twice as large as the mole was. (I am writing this at nearly 6 months post surgery.) I am not usually a vain person and normally I would have just left the mole alone, but I wanted to look nice for my son's wedding. That didn't happen and now I have one more thing that bothers me about my appearance. Because of the scar's location, even my smile has been affected. If I had the chance to do it again, I would have sought out a plastic surgeon or just left it alone. Lesson learned. This is what I get for my moment of vanity.

Like all Dermatologists, Dr. Lee's appointment schedule is booked well in advance. Once in his car, there is problem none any better. I've been with Dr. Lee for over 10 years now and through multiple incidents and have always been extremely pleased with his diagnosis, efficiency, and desire to help me work through multiple issues.

Outstanding professional

Because Dr. Lee only sees patients that are referred to him, it was a bit more challenging to get in to see him, but it was definitely worth the persistence, as I felt that he was extremely well qualified, knowledgeable, thorough, and concerned. Also, it was clear that he felt that I should be followed by him for my diagnosis of melanoma. So, I am very happy that I persevered and got in to see him, even though it took a while.
