Dr. Lydon is an incredible physician. He is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about his work. I felt so confident in his ability. He spent a lot of time explaining the operation to me when I was nervous. I did not feel rushed at all. I have heard that he is the most talented general surgeon in the country and I truly believe that he is.

I couldn't have been happier from the appt to diagnose and surgery.Dr Lydon explained everything in a way I would understand.he made me feel very at ease about the surgery,and of how many surgery's he had done. My surgery was done laproscopic.within about 7 days I was resuming normal activities. I would recommend Dr Lydon to everyone I know.

I brought into Norwood Hospital as an emergency patient. After a brief time in the emergency room having tests run on me to determine my condition, I was admitted and prepared for surgery, Ever question asked was answered and was given the opportunity to leave and have my primary make a referral. What sold me on Dr. Lydon were the nurses who unsolicited said I was in the best hands.

Dr. Lydon repaired a hernia for me in 1995. He thoroughly explained every detail of how a hernia happens and how he performs the Laproscopy and how long it would take and gave me avideo to watch. I felt like I knew almost as much as him about it and was confident to have it done. I had also been to one other Dr. for an opinion. That Dr. wanted to do the old fashioned C section procedure which would have a long recovery time. I had the laproscopy done on a Thursday or Friday and was actually able to benchpress in the Gym by the following Tuesday without any trace of discomfort. I couldn't have been happier with the result.
