Dr. Mackrell always took our concerns seriously and even gave us his direct contact information when we had a difficult time getting other hospital staff to contact him. Dr. Mackrell clearly explained his plan to us as well as the outcome after surgery and during follow-up visits.

It is too bad that a good doctor, or group of doctors, has staff that is either overworked to the point of not being able to do their jobs Or the staff is just sloppy. They fail to call back for appointments, change surgery dates and do not promptly notify the patient, etc

If you are looking for a vascular surgeon look no further. My experience with Dr, Mackrell spans 8 years.He is a wonderfull surgeon,with terrfic bed side manner!
