Dr. Peter Mann, DDS

York City; in 2009 Dr. Mann decided it was time to achieve his vision by opening
the Smile Arts of NY in the heart of Manhattan on E. 36th and Park ave.
Originally born in Ukraine, when communism collapsed his family took the
opportunity to pursue the American dream and moved to New York. Dr. Peter
Mann has lived in New York ever since, for over 22 years. His goal is to provide
excellent dental experience for his fellow New Yorkers.
"Dentistry is constantly evolving, only by continuing to seek more knowledge
I can continue to provide the best care for my patients." Dr. Peter Mann has
completed over a thousand hours of continuing education in cosmetic, implant, and sedation dentistry.
In 2009 Dr. Mann received the fellowship award from the International congress of Oral Implantology.

It is especially rewarding at the end of a difficult visit getting a thank …you from the patient because they know we care about them and take immense pride in the care we provide."
Dr. Mann lives minutes from the office. Patients undergoing treatment have his cell phone number and can always get in touch with any questions or concerns. It's not unusual to see Dr. Mann arriving after hours to help a patient with an emergency.
Education
Peter Mann graduated James Madison High school then went on to receive Bachelors of Science from the city University of New York Brooklyn College with honors. Dr. Mann graduated from NYU College of Dentistry with numerous achievements including awards in endodontics. He then completed rigorous residency training in Kings County Hospital Center focusing on cosmetic, implant dentistry, and oral surgery. In 2009 Dr. Mann completed the extensive year long AAID MaxiCourse in Oral Implantology at NYU, directed by one of the fathers of implant dentistry Dr. Norman Cranin.
Dr. Mann highly believes in helping those less fortunate. Every year the staff selects a patient to perform much needed treatment pro bono, that they cannot otherwise afford. In 2008 traveled on an outreach trip to Puerta Plata Dominican Republic to provide much needed dental care to the underserved community.

Outside the Office
On his free time Dr. Peter Mann enjoys outdoor sports, traveling, reading, and being active. You even may find him playing basketball in a local park on a summer day. He also enjoys spending time with his beloved family and his dog Buster.
