Dr. Peter M Mirkin, MD

Dr Murkin is a phenomenal doctor to see if you need a psychiatrist. He is always professional and extraordinarily compassionate, his kind expertise and knowledge gets me through anything that comes up. Doctor Murkin cares greatly for his patients and not only as patients. He has the type of care and kindness that is so rare today in the hurry up world we live in. He is so easy to talk to and always takes the time to listen. He stays on top of current research and works hard to make his patients lives better, for these reasons I highly recommend him!

The staff is friendly, supportive, and go out of their way. Dr. Mirkin sincerely listens to me and considers it into my treatment plan; takes an in-depth look into my current medications, their side effects, and other possibilities we can try; along with the safest way to transition. I am used to short visits, not being heard, and having medications thrown at me all at once — not knowing what medication and side effects could be affecting me. I have never had a doctor that went beyond what I expected in regards to a lot of previous medical providers I saw in the past.
