Dr. Peter Trong Ngoc Nguyen, DO

Went to Dr. Nguyen for a sudden onset of ringing in one ear. He diagnosed my symptoms as tinnitus. 3 months later, I was in the ER due to facial numbness and dizziness. Found out I have a medium sized Acoustic Neuroma growing next to my brain. Apparently, the sudden onset of ringing in one ear is a well known symptom of Acoustic Neuromas. Talk about completely misdiagnosing.

Had sinus surgery a week ago. Peter Nguyen carried out the surgery. He has been an excellent choice in a doctor. He is very intelligent and informing. A VERY competent doctor. I'm so happy that I chose to go with this doctor, and medical group (Edinger Medical Group). I recently switched providers, and am totally satisfied with this decision.

Had chronic sinus infections - was referred to Dr Nguyen. Was skeptical at first - he can be a little “short” with you - but hang in there - he is an excellent doctor and surgeon! Always asks if you have questions - ask them! That’s what he’s there for. I had a turbinate reduction and septoplasty. I can breathe again!

In my opinion Dr. Nguyen has zero bedside manner and very little patience, he does not care to listen to your questions or concerns and has no empathy for your pain at all!He actually slammed the door in my face and stated "I am not repeating myself again". When you ask questions he says that you are "hostile"????In my opinion he just take a "GUESS" on your diagnoses, he stated over and over again that I grinded my teeth and when I told him I did not he argued the point until I stood my ground. Please be aware of his mistreatment of patients. I hope no one has to be treated like this just horrible!!

Dr. Nguyen did a great job on my septum surgery.

I called the Office for my CT scan results and was informed I would need to come in to get results. I finally got the Dr on the phone 2 days later and he said to me "I am wasting his time". He didn't want to go into detail about my test results. He was very RUDE and his staff was also. I had spoken with Sarah and Julie, they were also short and rude. I would NEVER recommend this Dr to anyone no matter what. He is a HORRIBLE Dr, do NOT waste your time with him or his office.

Happy to have found this doctor. He is very knowledgeable and any wait time is well worth it as he gives the time needed by patient. Most personable doctor I have ever met. Seems to be extremely well thought of by staff in nearby offices. I highly recommend him.
