Dr. Peter Eric Oishi, MD

Pediatric Critical Care Dr. Peter Oishi is a pediatric critical care specialist, who cares for patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU). Oishi earned a medical degree at Albany Medical College in New York and completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at UCSF and Children's Hospital and Research Center in Oakland, before completing a research fellowship at UCSF's Cardiovascular Research Institute. Oishi is the recipient of numerous awards, including the National Institute of Health (NIH) Pediatric Critical Care Scientist Development Program award and Actelion Young Investigators award. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and Society for Critical Care Medicine. He is an adjunct assistant professor in pediatric critical care at UCSF.
