I had an ultrasound to check on chronically enlarged lymph nodes. I got the report back - and along with my results, this doctor wrote “morbid obesity” on the Clinical Indication part. So… I didn’t spend years of anorexia recovery learning that I’m not fat despite what my ED has been telling me regularly, just to see a note like this fly in the face of that work. My best guess is that he was referring to the weight I was asked to give out when scheduling my ultrasound. If so, it’s asinine of a doctor to not realize that having a higher BMI could have to do with muscle mass and bone density, especially when a person had to regain that after years of restricting food intake. I’ve had recent body compositions done that indicate high muscle levels and average fat levels. Ever heard of athletes, muscle weighs more than fat, etc.? Do the work and understand that BMI is outdated and flawed. (And even if my fat levels really indicated “morbid obesity,” it would be unprofessional and careless… to address it this way.) I’ve never had a note of this nature on an ultrasound, nor would I expect to. Or is just having swollen lymph nodes “obesity” to this guy? If it weren’t for my years of ED recovery, I wouldn’t have gone to the radiologist and examined my lymph nodes instead of opting for cosmetic surgery on the soft tissue of my neck like my ED suggests instead. Is this what a person recovering from an ED should expect when trying to take care of their body? I’m outraged, because this caused me to relapse. I’m looking into filing a complaint for this doctor. If you have an anorexia diagnosis, specifically request that Dr. Piampiano doesn’t evaluate your results. And after reading about his careless behaviors from other reviews, I’m starting to question whether the lymph node measurements done by him were even accurate.

This guy is an idiot can’t read a ct scan right and this is his job my hip is in 3 pieces and it’s displaced by .4 of an inch and he says it’s in alignment. It’s not stay away from providence and all their doctors
