Dr. Peter Po-Keung Poon, MD

Worst doctor I've ever been to. He had zero listening skills, and was very rude and confused. I came in for a female issue, and he gave me a Rx and did a Pap smear. 3 weeks later I was having a really nice day, when his office called saying I needed to come in right away. Wouldn't tell me why. I was thinking "oh no, cancer again". When i got there the first thing he said to me was that I was suicidally depressed and needed to check into a hospital. Wrote me a prescription slip for it! WHAT? I was totally fine and had no idea where this was coming from, but I was laughing at first, thinking it was a joke. He INSISTED I needed inpatient care. I came to realize he had read my medical records from a breakdown I'd had TWELVE YEARS earlier, during a very difficult time. He refused to accept that he was wrong. And he was very confused about what he had read as well. All I could think of was how dangerous he could be to other patients. I filed a grievance and got a new doctor.… I can't believe he's still practicing.
