Dr. Peter Anthony Rice, MD

It was our 1st visit since our previous pediatrician retired & sold her practice. Dr. Rice was great!! Since my son is asthmatic, he checked on him quickly before seeing the 2 other patients before us because his oxygen level was low. He assessed his situation which was comforting to me & ordered a breathing treatment while we waited our turn. I really appreciated his attention to the situation & hope he is the permanent doctor for this new location. It was sad to lose a trusted doctor you had been going to for over 22 years but his attention to detail, bedside matter and knowledge (especially with medically problamatic kids) was extremely comforting. I also loved the non medical suggestions he added which was also what I was used to getting. He is a good fit for our community & really hope he stays at our location. We needed a down home type doctor to replace the 1 we had.

Dr. Rice is our preferred pediatrician at Kidz Care pediatrics in Franklin, NC. He is always gentle when speaking with all 3 kids and explains things so they can understand him as well. He listens to me about symptoms and concerns about physical and emotional health of the children. He also has a down to earth bedside manner, he reminds me of my childhood dr which is a rare find in doctors nowadays. Both l and the children would highly recommend Dr. Rice.
