I recently had an appointment with Dr. Rienzo concerning my back. I was asked to submit a review by the Orthopedic institute and the link directed me to this site. I felt my appointment with Dr. Rienzo was rushed. I have pre-existing conditions with my back, and he didn’t ask any questions regarding them. He tested my reflexes and strength markers and asked about pain. I was told about my next steps which included medication for pain, physical therapy, then an MRI after PT. I understand the insurance companies have a lot of play in this, however it doesn’t make sense to put PT first before an MRI when I have a pre-existing condition which could cause additional issues without a thorough diagnosis. I wasn’t satisfied with my visit.

Orthopedic Institute Brielle along with Dr Rienzo is a amazing place. They are kind, compassionate and dedicated to helping their patients. Dr Rienzo cares he talks to you, your not being rushed out he discusses options and he advises the best course of action to take. I highly commend Dr Rienzo and would recommend him to any person who needs medical help.

I really like Dr. Rienzo, I have seen him several times over the years for various orthopedic issues mainly back and spine. He has always listened to me and treated me with kindness and respect. Great bedside manner and is never dismissive to me when I talk about pain. That type of doctor can be hard to find sometimes.

This was my first visit with Dr. Rienzo. I was recommended by Dr. Abeer Griggs. I must say Dr. Rienzo made me feel very Comfortable. Excellent bed side manners.

My time with the doctor was about 3 minutes long. I would have appreciated a more detailed explanation of my medical condition. What it is exactly, location, degree etc..However, the medication and the therapy he prescribed was right on.

I felt the visit was very rushed. I was in extreme pain. I would have appreciated if I could have shown the doctor my upper leg to at least show him the previous scar tissue. I will try another doctor in the practice
