Dr. Peter Frederick Robinson, MD

If you suspect you may have a condition like POTS or concomitant issues like hEDS or MCAS, I IMPLORE you to avoid Dr. Robinson and see the experts at the other hospital system. He will talk over you, lecture you on why he thinks these are annoying diagnoses, and make assumptions about you without actually asking questions or verifying anything. He will also make you feel like you are the biggest waste of time for being on his schedule. My new cardiologist had some choice words for Dr. Robinson regarding his notes from our visits. I don’t expect my doctor to know everything, but I do expect him or her to listen to and believe me. Save your time, money, and pride.

referred for calcification of renal aorta ( from CT scan) and he never even listened to my heart or breathing, spent 40 minutes trying to get me on a statin drugs

I have never met a physician as rude and arrogant as Dr. Robinson. He was so bad I’m looking to file a complaint.

Dr. Robinson is a superb physician! His dedication to his patients is obvious, as are his superior medical abilities. He has kept me out of cardio-related trouble for many years, and I shall rely upon him for as many more years as In have left.

If you are in need of a cardiologist internist just say no to Robinson. He's rude, self absorb, condescending, etc., I strongly suggest going with another group, for there is no communications amongst this group of doctors. If however you are stuck with Pioneer Valley Cardiology Associates and need a so-called plumber, ask for Dr. Joelson instead. A team of wild horses couldn't drag me back to Pioneer Valley Cardiology.
