I had a appointment here for a claim I had in with the VA for headaches and dizziness due to military related injuries. Other than not being so respectful, I was not sure what some of the so called “exams” he was doing on me were for . I felt like I was doing a full body physical exam when he was not focusing on what I was saying and was being super rude when I was trying to explain my injuries to him .He kept telling me “that’s not what you’re here for” I really hope the VA can see what this guy is doing and how he’s treating guys that are just trying to get looked at and be respected with just a little bit of courtesy.

I have had great encounters with previous doctors for VA claims but this was the first time my experience was terrible. Dr. Ruiz barely spoke one word to me and when he did was rude. He went through the procedures and physically was moving and forcing my limbs. I would recommend asking for a different doctor if you happen to get him.

I went to see Dr Ruiz because I had a back injury and it was hurting me. I'm disabled and started saying that I shouldn't have be given my disability and that everyone wants to be disabled. He didn't tell me what he was going to do, he just said to get on top of the table. And he started moving my legs around and I started yelling. By the time I came out of there I had hold by the wall for me to walk. I haven't been well since. I had to have back surgery. People be careful with that dr

Dr. Ruiz is a caring, compassionate, and patient doctor that actually listens to his patients' needs. He is understanding and doesn't just leave the room as quickly as possible like some former doctors do. God Bless all the Doctors out there who are willing to treat their patients like human beings.I appreciate Dr. Ruiz time and effort, keep up the good work Dr. Ruiz. Corpus Christi appreciates you!

Dr. Ruiz is the the BEST Doctor I have ever had!! He is an exceptinal Doctor who patiently listens to you without making you feels infurior. I talk with him in an open and honest fashion which I have never been able to do with any other Dr....Doctor Ruiz is a dedicated Christian Man of God who prays for his patients, which I totally love!
