Dr. Rumore is a very good Dr; spends ample amount of time with patients and listens to his patients; Staff and wait time has definitely improved over time, but follow up still an issue

After trying to make an appointment with Dr. Rumore as a new patient without receiving a phone call back to schedule it I finally gave up. The Head Nurse who said ask for her she could help speed up an appointment is a liar and loves praising herself. Told my primary care how I was treated by Nurse Hatchett and the terrible office team.... disgraceful! Hope the doctors catch on... sad their office is run so unprofessional!

excellent care, followup and diagnosis

Dr Rumore is a nice guy who really seems to care about the patient . The exam is not very thorough but he seems to know his medicine.

I have been Dr Rumore's patient at his Melville office for several years. He is very caring and I am pleased with the medical care he provides. However, phone calls to request appointments or lab results are never returned. The Nurse Manager is rude and confrontational if and when you can reach her.

he investigates the symptoms unlike most doctors!

Dr. Rumore has just picked up my case and although we are early on in diagnosing problems which other Doctor's have failed to acknowledge for over 20 years, causing my quality of life to be nil to none for that period of time, here is a Physician who is willing to try. His compassion is second only to his knowledge of rare Neurological Disorders which do not even fall under his area of expertise. I doubt he will be able to *cure* me. I don't believe at this point a cure is available. However, knowing that there is finally a Doctor who cares enough to try, validates not only my subjective pain, but test results that have gone ignored by other Doctors for many, many years. In addition, the staff I have met at his office share in his warmth and make the entire experience as pleasant as any Doctor's Appointment can possibly be.
