Dr. Peter Anthony Saway, MD

Dr Saway takes time to listen and to check out any health complaints I have had and to look for solutions. So many doctors rush in and out and you never feel like they really pay attention - Dr Saway is not like that and I appreciate that a lot!

Dr Saway has been my doctor for over 20 years. He is a very caring and compassionate person. I will use him as my doctor as long as he is in practice.

There is none better than Dr. Saway. At age 79, and having lived in several cities, I have met Many physicians. Dr. Saway has a calling to help and heal. He has been my doctor for over thirty years. He cares about his patients. His nurse is wonderful! Top Notch!!!

Dr Saway is a very kind and intelligent doctor that has made a tremendous difference in my life! He is very knowledgeable and compassionate. His nurse is great also!! Very highly recommend!!

I was a patient of Dr Saway's for 11 years. He is compassionate and caring, resulting in a great bedside manner. I have always felt that he listens and takes me seriously. He also keeps an eye out for other issues outside his area that may need attention and will refer you to another specialist if needed. His additional board certification in pain management gives him a unique perspective on his patients who app deal with chronic pain. He is able to do injections and blocks to help manage the pain in addition to medicine to treat the underlying disease. Sometimes waits can be long, but it's because he takes extra time when it's needed. It also means that I know he will take his time with me when I need it. Getting an appointment early in the morning or right after lunch typically results in shorter wait times.

I waited forever to get in with this physician and was highly disappointed. I found him to be very dismissive. I told him that I had fallen and he blew me off. I later found out that I had a broken talus (ankle) bone and had a very serious injury. He seems to be burned out to me and does not listen to his patients. Needless to say, once was enough for me and I never went back.

He has been my doctor for 15 years.Great doctor!

I have been using Dr. Saway for many years. I went to him with severe pain from unsuccessful back surgeries and knew that I had fibromyalgia but was not being treated for it though. Dr. Saway ordered a round of lab test and MRI'S and a bone density test. I found that I had multiple problems and was put on medication and can now live a better life where as before I was hurting so bad that I could not stand to move. I have found that he is very easy to talk to and listens to what I say and is concerned about my opinions. I think if he was not having to spend so much time on the computer as all doctors do now that he would have more time to listen and answer questions than what he does now. I do recommend him highly it is not his fault the laws have all changed in some ways for the better but it does take more of his time than before...

I have seen Dr. Saway since 1992. I have Rhuematoid arthritis, lupus, and fibromyalgia. Dr. Saway is the one Dr. I can depend on to get things right. He is accurate in his diagnosis and treatment. He is conservative in his medicines meaning I can depend on his to prescrbe the right medications with looking out what is best for my overall and longterm health. He takes time to listen to what is going on with me, without rushing me through my appointment. I have never had a problem from this office. Going to numberous Dr.s because of my health issues gets to be a bit much, but this office makes it as pleasant as possible. I am thankful I have found Dr. Saway. I travel an hour and a half to get to see Dr. Saway. I tried our local rhuematologist, the total care I got from that office was not as excellent as Dr. Saway and his staff. I really don't know what I would do without his care. When you have several overlapping diseases you need a physican who knows what he is doing.

Been a patient for a long time. Great doctor, but lately has taken on too many patients, hurting both the appointment experience (more than an hour wait once you get there) and obviously a stressor on his demeanor, though at least this seems to have gotten better. Can be very caring towards his patients.
