Dr. Peter Cornwell Schaab, MD

Dr. Schaab has performed two hip replacements and I can’t say enough good things about him. It truly was a sad day when he retired. Kind, intelligent, great bedside manner, explain things very well and visits to the hospital and rehab center check on me. His office staff was exceptional too!

I've known Dr. Schaab for 23 years and I worked for him for 19. I only saw 2 patients ever not like him and it was because they were doctor shopping and drug seeking. The hospital nurses and physical therapists see him as their orthopedist. Sad to say he has retired.

I'd gone to another clinic where I was just a "face in the crowd". I'd had two prior repairs for a torn meniscus in the same knee. I went to Dr. Schaab after a third tear and he spent ample time with me never making me feel like I was holding him up from his next patient. He explained things in great detail. In the hospital I was told by a nurse that he was the best because he was very thorough. That says something right there!! His followup was great. The first two arthroscopic surgeries at another clinic never did leave me pain free. His did. He's in high demand and getting an appointment may take time but he's worth the small wait. He is personable and I love his receptionist/assistant. I'm no longer a face in a crowd. He's got it right!!

Dr. Schaab is highly competent and has a great bedside manner. He actually visits his patients daily in the hospital and follows up with personal calls to PT professionals. This is my second knee surgery and it has healed more quickly than the first and I am excited about getting my active lifestyle back in 2013!

Dr. Peter Schaab is the worst Dr. I have ever encountered in my life. He is extremely rude and thinks he is above everyone and everything. He treated me with complete disrespect and I would never see him again and certainly NOT reccommend him to my worst enemy.
