Dr. Peter Allan Scheidler, DO

Waited for hours on end last week for my appointment (Dr. Scheidler did not show up until almost 2pm?!). When I finally was helped the doctor was very short and rude to me. Made me feel like I wasn’t valued.

Minimum wait time is 2hrs from your appointment time. Doesn’t matter what time your appointment is or what day. You will wait. Doctors want us there early and not be late or they charge us but expect us to wait that long for them????

Sometimes you have to wait to see him, but he is worth it! He takes his time to address all questions and medical needs.

My parents and my daughter have been patients for several years. The number of times that Rx's are not phoned in, or referrals not made are too many to count. They tell you they did the work but the pharmacies and consulting offices deny ever hearing from them. After making a scene at the office to get my mother's cardiology referral, it was discovered that she never needed the referral in the first place! They went round and round saying her insurance had changed, (It had not), and inferring that she wasn't mentally competent to give accurate information about her insurance etc. The front office lies to the patients telling them they have taken care of situations when in fact they have not. Dr Scheidler told me he could not afford to hire more help. Sad, perhaps he can afford to hire competent help?????

Dr. Pete is very easy to talk to... I love the fact that when I left his office, I didn't leave feeling gloom and doom about my issues of health...instead I leave smiling... He lets you know what you need to do with out making you feel depressed about yourself..

Would not keep appointment to let us know MRI, heart scan, or carotid artery scan. After appearing for our appt.we were told for a 2nd time there would be a 2 hour wait. Asked if he could call us with test results we were told it would be unethical for him to call us with them. But it wasn't unethical for the receptionist to tell us it would be a minute wait. We said okay for a minute wait then she told us it would be at least an hour or two because there were 8 people ahead of us. A horrible way to do business. By the way, the patient is 85 years old.

I did have to wait for a while. However it was well worth it. Dr Pete takes his time to explain everything.

Waited for 2 hours after my appointment time to be seen. Once I was called back I still was waiting for the doctor to come into my room for another 30 minutes. The doctors visit took 4 hours total. I was thinking more along the line of 1 hour 30 minutes most but no, 4 hours.

Dr. Pete Scheidler has always been caring, considerate, and thorough every time I have been there. He nailed my problem on the head, and gave me exercised to do to relieve my pain without prescribing extreme amounts of pain medication. Yeah for Dr. Pete!!!

The wait time is hours both in the waiting room and in the examing room. Don't waste your time. There are other good doctors out there that are sensative to their patients time and don't sacrifice quality of care.
