Dr. Peter James Schlegel, MD

Met Dr. Schlegel when my husband was fighting for his life in the ICU. No one knew what was wrong with him. He took one look at him and said he has cancer and I just need to find it. He had a biopsy done of his lung. He did what he needed to have the tests rushed, because my husband wasn't going to live through the weekend. They found the cancer, and rushed his treatment. He truly saved his life, and we will forever be grateful!!

Dr Schlegel may be better suited to a lab environment rather than a clinic setting where people are counting on him. I had three appointments with him and for each one he was 60 minutes late- this includes an day where I was the second scheduled pt scheduled to see him. The first patient was called back at the time of my appointment. During the appointments I felt that Dr Schlegel was reviewing my chart and information at the same time he was supposed to be discussing them with me. There was no sense of preparedness from him and he inspired no confidence. I would not recommend this provider to anyone.
