I agree fully with "female pateint" The nurse practitioners appear to be inexperienced even though they are of a "certain age" so to speak. The front office girl is rude, impolite and constantly presses you for payment and then delves into your protected healthcare info, informing you that "she isn't sure if you will even receive a med refill, "she will have to look into it. To save time and energy seek medical treatment "elsewhere" A horrible experience if you are treated? by one of the female nurse practitioners, they don't seem to be dealing with a "full deck"

AS A FORMER PATIENT AT BELLEVUE FAMILY MEDICINE I FOUND THAT UPON MY RETURN FOR A RATHER URGENT HEALTH CRISIS, I WAS INFORMED THAT DR SCHOCK IS NOW ONLY SEEING PATIENTS ON THE MDVIP PLAN. A REAL RIP-OFF YOU HAVE TO PAY OUT $1600 JUST TO HAVE AN APP WITH THE DOC. iF NOT YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH THE FEMALE EMPLOYEES WHO CALL THEMSELVES "NURSE PRACTITIONERS" GOOD LUCK IF YOU HAVE ANY HEALTH CONCERN THAT REQUIRES MORE THAN A BAINDAID. THEY APPEAR TO BE SLOW, VACANT MINDED AND INDECISIVE WITHOUT THE INSTRUCTION AND OPINION OF THE DOCTOR WHO IS ON STAFF THAT DAY. UPON YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME ARRIVAL YOU ARE GREETED(REALLY?) BY AN OVERWEIGHT, ILLMANNERED GUM CHEWING AND SNAPPING FEMALE RECEPTIONIST WHO CAN BARELY MOVE AROUND THE OFFICE. SHE WILL THEN INFORM YOU THAT BELLEVUE FAMILY MEDICINE IS "FRAGRANCE FREE OFFICE" ALL THE WHILE CHEWING AND SNAPPING HER CHEWING GUM IN AN OFFENSIVE MANNER, PERMEATING THE MEDICAL OFFICE WITH A FOUL ODOR, A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY FOR AN ACTUAL MEDICAL… APPOINTMENT WHERE YOU EXPECT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT .

Doctor Schock has been caring for me for over twenty five years. He is probably the most compassionate man I have ever met as well as being an extremely capable medical practicioner. My being able to live a normal life is in great part because of him. He understands me!He is my friend.

I have been going to Dr. Schock for 14 years, he delivered both my kids and I think he is a good, caring, compassionate doctor. His office staff are horrible & constantly changing - why is that? Receptionist too busy texting on her cell phone to answer the incoming phone calls from patients. The Medical Assistants are always new & seem to be recently graduated from the latest on-line "college". Refills are not promptly called in to the pharmacy. Appointments are hard to get and then double-booked by the Receptionist of the day. It's been this way for the last 14 years and it's really too bad, because he is a great Doctor. I'm just tired of the Administrative blunders that waste my time and money.

Dr Schock has consistently impressed me as he has tackled complex health issues presented by my husband. He considers himself, not only a doctor, but also a scientist, looking for underlying causes and the best possible treatments. He listens carefully to what we say and responds,always, in a very caring manner. He is one of the best practitioners we have had, and we have seen many, throughout the U.S.!

I have been in Dr. Schock's care for almost 15 years, and one of the qualities that I most appreciate is that he isn't an alarmist. He assesses the problem and then give you the options, with recommendations, on how you want to proceed.
