Dr. Peter Robert Schulz, MD

I can’t even put into words how grateful I am to Dr. Peter Schulz. He is a patient’s advocate and a compassionate attentive physician. I went into his office today full of anxiety and fear to discuss my surgery after a recent diagnosis of an aggressive type of breast cancer. Throughout the entire visit, him and his right hand assistant Stacy, went over every single details of all of my test results. He explained them to me in terms that were easy to understand and told me about treatment options. He listened to me and answered my questions honestly and supported my wish for a second opinion. Both Stacy and Dr. Peter Schulz gave me such hope and peace of mind. Although he told me that my journey is going to be difficult, he gave me the feeling that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I left his office feeling more positive and hopeful and determined to beat my cancer regardless of the hurdles I’ll have to face in the near future.

Dr. Shultz deserves more than 5 stars. He preformed intestine surgery on my wife and her prognosis is now excellent. Thank you Dr. Shultz.

Dr. Peter Schulz – I don’t typically write reviews but in this case I find it difficult not to show a very public expression of my appreciation to Doctor Schulz and Stacey. I was referred to the good Doctor by my GP for Hernia repair that I needed . Doctor Schulz as his website indicates, “ Dr. Peter Schulz focuses on quality, integrity, good surgical skills and communication for his patients and family.” Well during my initial exam, he noticed my pulse rate was low; he then asked numerous questions about my family history of heart disease, asked if I ever experienced any dizziness, chest pains, fatigue, shortness of breath, all of which I did not. I explained I have always had a slow pulse exercised and felt great. He still insisted I go for a stress test and referred me to a cardiologist. I went to the cardiologist he looked at me asked many of the same questions observed I looked to fit a cleared me for the surgery without the test. I went back to Dr. Schulz and while most Doctors… would have been happy with having the clearance and avoiding the liability, he insisted I go back and get the stress test. I went back and explained Doctor Schulz is adamant and will not perform the surgery without the actual test results. The stress test itself was easy and I completed with no issue. To my surprise and that of the cardiologist, the picture showed a blockage. The cardiologist schedules an angiogram. Well, unfortunately, it has been determined that I have the widowmaker 100% blockage of my left main artery,and need bypass surgery. My cardiologist flat out said to be sure to thank Doctor Schulz for his persistence and he said to thank him for me too. Doctor, my heartfelt thanks; see you in six months for the hernia repair you possibly saved my life.

So far I am very pleased with this Dr Shultz. I saw him for a hernia. My first time meeting him.was a good experience. He sent me for. CAT scan and within a couple of days I heard back from his office to schedule a followup visit. He is very pleasant and sensitive. I feel very comfortable with him as a surgeon and a specialist. This is only my second surgery in my life and he had a way of making me feel at ease about going through the procedure. Followup visit is already scheduled for next week. Also his staff are all very friendly and professional. So far I have to say I am glad I was recommended to his office by my GP. Dr. Peter Shultz took his time to explain everything in detail.

I like the fact that he answered the phone and spoke to me, I dislike the way I was talked to and action that was taken for my patient. I Explained specfic details on patients wound and concerns and all he said was ........send him to hospital for a work up if you think he needs it. I'll see him next week in my office I think he's a healthy individual and I don't think you runs the risk of infection. My patient had an infection and was admitted. Poor quality of care. I always am at best interest for DR he was just not listening and true it didn't care what I had to say.

I found Dr Schulz to listen closely and respond in an outstanding manner. He seemed interested in answering all my questions and being straight forward . I feel confident in having Dr Schulz perform my procedure.

Dr. Peter Schultz was very knowledgeable about treatments for breast cancer. He was extremely thorough in researching my individual case. He did an MRI also after my biopsies to make sure he was completely aware of everything that existed in the breast he would be operating on. Because of this procedure he found an additional tumor that did not show up on the original biopsy. When he removed my tumors I knew he had all the markers of my two tumors and was successful in removing them. He had follow up visits and will see me next year and keep in touch with me. I highly recommend Dr. Schultz and feel very fortunate that I was referred to him by my personal physician. Lucky.
