Dr. Peter Alan Selz, MD

My step father (85 years old) WAS a patient of Dr Selz. I say WAS because this was the worst Doctor I've ever heard of & he has no manners at all.. My step father was referred by the V.A ,(he a Marine , ret.)and I was shocked at his unprofessionalism and poor character of this doctor..My Mom told my step dads nurse about the way they were treated and she was shocked...said she would take care of it.My name is Randy Hankins and my stepdad is Luther Hankins Jr.

We understood that the doctor would accept what Medicare paid for full payment....not so! We were told before surgery that they would accept whatever Medicare paid & we would only need to pay the 20% before he did the surgery...… and that our portion would be $167.78. We paid that amount and when we received the bill it said we owed an additional amount of $1,229.29....which ended up being a total of $1,327.97.

he was very rude would not listen or answer any question I had about the surgery he wanted to do it seemed to me he just could not be bothered ..

Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. I have seen Dr. Selz several times and each appointment has been great.

Dr. Selz makes one feel very confident in his abilities!

My 12 year old daughter had her nose cauterized in his office due to nosebleeds since she was very young. He did a great job and she hasn't had a nosebleed since. He is a super nice man and explained the procedure in layman's terms. I would highly recommend him to anyone

From the very first visit I was impressed, from the handshake, talking in lamen terms, working through me having the flu on my pre-op but being able to reschedule that appointment to not change surgery date, right down to the surgery. He kept me calm, answered questions, and kept my husband informed about had surgery went. I normally do not like doctors or refer others to them, but this one deserves it. Thank you Dr. Selz and your staff is wonderful too. I wish I could remember the lady that I woke up to after the surgery. She was a very caring nurse and calmed me down instantly. A surgery I don't want to remember, but an experience with a surgeon and nurses I will never forget due to the professionalism and courtesy. I had sugery yesterday and I couldn't wait to rate my experience just in case someone else may need to hear this for their confidence in Dr. Selz and his staff.

Doesn't like kids. Hardly examined my boy. He needed ear tubes, but he just hurried us out the door and told us to come back in 6 weeks. My son still has bad ear pain. Don't want to go back

Very impressed with answering questions completly. Also very impressed with follow up after, after hour calls. Caring and very confident with what he does. Makes trusting him a weight off your shoulders.
