Dr. Peter T Soderstrom, DDS

Dr. Peter Soderstrom proudly represents the third generation of his family, offering the finest quality dental care to the greater Modesto community. Dr. Soderstrom’s family tradition is rich in dentistry, his father and grandfather before him leading the way. His brother practices pediatric dentistry and his sister is a G.P., while Dr. Peter Soderstrom has chosen to specialize in prosthodontics, the field generally understood in terms of restoring the teeth with crowns, veneers, bridges, dental implants and a full range of cosmetic dentistry to create award-winning smiles. Dr. Soderstrom is an active alumnus of the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, California, where he received his dental degree. He then built upon this foundation by procuring his Prosthodontic Certificate from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Following which, he continued his pursuit of excellence by completing a comprehensive three-year postgraduate residency at …the University of Texas Health Science Center, achieving a Master of Science in Dental Prosthodontics. Dr. Soderstrom has continued to strive for excellence both in his practice, where he has been serving the Modesto community for more than 10 years and through advanced clinical studies to keep current of emerging dental technologies.
Dr. Soderstrom has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco and acts as a Restorative Consultant on Comprehensive Prosthodontic and Implant Dentistry with the Modesto Dental Study Group.
When not actively engaged in his work, Dr. Soderstrom enjoys spending time with his wife and two children at their Modesto home. He continues his commitment to his local community as an active Scout leader.
