Dr. Peter Val Sundwall

I chose a family doctor in the insurance, who received new patients. They offered themselves - I agreed. However, when I called to make an appointment, I was warned that maybe the doctor would not accept me because they were full. I said that I had already approved the opportunity to visit a doctor at my insurance company. They asked why I need a doctor, collected information. And a day later they refused. It feels like I didn't pass their casting. Thank you for this situation, because I don't want to be treated by a doctor with such an attitude to patients.

I've gone to Dr. Sundwall for over 10 years and I am done. He was always nice, but I saw him probably 1/5 times I went in. The office staff is so rude and uncaring. I recently found out I was pregnant with my first and they were brief and unhelpful in guiding me through that process. I was at Costco yesterday and had a miscarriage. I immediately called Sundwall's office, and once I finally got through to a live person (took three times) the receptionist told me all the nurses were busy and couldn't help me. I told them in my tears I needed immediate help and advice, and the receptionist just said "you should probably just go to the ER." I ended up calling a different doctor who took the time to talk to me and I DIDN'T have to go to the ER. I have since called Sundwall's office for follow ups and have not gotten through to a person once. They have caused me to feel totally alone and abandoned, and I will never see them again.

Like Dr. Sundwall. Office staff is awful! On one visit I was informed that I might not be able to be seen because I was Late when I was actually 5 minutes early. When I questioned the receptionist and even showed her my text reminder of the scheduled appointment she still acted as if I was late. Was sent to collections for a past due bill that I was not aware of. There was not one phone call made and I even had 2 appointment's while the bill was past due. There was never a mention of a past due balance until I received the letter informing me that it had been sent to collections and it is their policy to no longer see patients or their family members after an account was sent to collections. I had been seeing Dr Sundwall for 10+ years and this was the way I was treated.

I have been seeing Dr. S for 15 years and he is personable and caring. He listens, doesn't make me feel stupid (like some doctors I have had) and never hurries me. He's a keeper!

He is very personable, punctual, has even come to the waiting room to get me because he hates his patients to have to wait.
