Dr. Peter Kent Thrush, MD

I saw Dr. Thrush as part of an Independent Medical Exam required by my worker's compensation case. He was supposedly a"neutral" orthopedic surgeon to assess independently the results of my MRI. At my appointment, Dr. Thrush told me that based on my test results, I should not return to work for 4 wks, and recommended physical therapy. During the SAME DAY as my scheduled appt, my claims adjuster called and pressured Dr. Thrush into changing his "opinion" regarding my injury, and agreed to send me back to work immediately. Not only did he fail me as the patient by allowing Brickstreet to sway his medical recommendation, but his office refused to mail me a copy of my patient records and his notes from my visit. Apparently Dr. Thrush does this often for the claims adjusters, which is the reason he is their go -to "independent, neutral" physician. Don't trust him like I did!
