Dr. Peter William Trottier

I've seen Dr. Trottier for over 10 years. He's a wonderful, caring doctor. He listens, and he cares. He's VERY in tune to patient needs. I'm extremely grateful a specialist told me about him!

Worse doctor ever!! More concern about getting paid than figuring out what was wrong. Talked down to me. Horrible experience!!

I have been going to Dr Trottier for several years always takes time to answer any concerns or problems I have great dr.

I would not recommend this doctor. He misdiagnosed a family member that ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks and then a live in rehab center for 1 week. Things went from bad to worse with this doctor. After being told of the misdiagnosis (we were told by doctors in the ER), I called and he never apologized, visited this patient, or even followed-up on their condition. Not sure why he chose to practice medicine. Not good at diagnosing (which can be difficult and people can make errors), but he has no real concern for his patients. Sad.

I have notice this attitude since early 2008. Only by going to another doctor did I find out I was not just fat but had a life threatening condition that required immediate surgery. On my pre-op visit, he still could not "diagnose" it and did apologize. I only see this dr. to keep my Rx up to date. I do not have insurance and was surprised to be charged over 200.00 for Rx refill visit, charged for a 25 min. visit, more like 10 min. to print the scripts out. I was called by the office that morning and asked if I could come in an hour and a half early, sure can, and I sat in the waiting room for all of that time and saw the dr. at 11:20, my original appt.time was 11:00. My disease/syndrome is stable as long as I remain on my drugs, That is the only reason I see the doctor. Most of the staff is borderline rude, maybe that is a lack of moral or an "assembly line attitude".

Dr. Trottier is friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns. He ordered appropiate tests for my issues. He gave advise & options on different treatment plans. Then he let me choose the options I felt most comfortable with. LOVE this in a doctor. Staff was very friendly as well.

Went for complete physical after sending complete medical records from prior doctor. Confusion - asked what I wanted him to do, rec'd cursury exam. Did prostrate exam amd psa only at my request - he recommended against based on age. Went again for blood lab work, still no EKG or Stress test even though 2 years since last physical exam.
