Dr. Vieira was my anesthesiologist during my recent major surgery at BMC. The moment he introduced himself I felt immediately calmed. He was very pleasant, explained everything to me clearly, and I had virtually no pain, and a very pleasant “sleep”. If you are able to request your anesthesia doctor for surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Vieira. Marilou Sullivan

Dr. Vieira and the staff at Pain Management are the absolutely best! They are all very caring and helpful. Dr. Vieira takes the time to listen to you so he understands where you are hurting and what you are feeling. All of the nurses and other staff are kind, empathic and extremely helpful. It's such a different experience going to Pain Management than going to any other doctor. Thank you all!

The Dr. is an anesthesiology GOD! He was wonderful- talked to me before and after. Did a great job with my case. I'll recommend him to everyone! THE BEST!! D. Gross

I work in pain management and I am a patient of Dr Vieira, he is an excellent practioner and an exceptional interventional pain management specialist! He Is kind , caring , and highly competent pain management physician, and I could not recommend he more highly!

This doctor has an awful bedside manner, schedules way too many appointments back to back and makes everyone wait. He lets students/ new young doctors, learn to do the proceedures on his patients and doesnt bother to ask the patient if thats acceptable or give them the option. His huge ego gets in the way of actually caring for the patient or their pain.
