Dr. Peter Lai Wei, MD

I went to see Dr.Wei after the hospital told me they thought I had a herniated disc. His bedside manner was very uncaring. He was not compassionate or understanding of how much pain I was in. I had been in pain for 3 weeks. He told me I had a chronic pain problem and that would lead to depression and anxiety. I told him I was in terrible pain and he told me to just move constantly and push through it. He told me to walk 5 miles a day. He did not ask questions or do further evaluations to see how I was doing. I felt like he was very cold and uncaring. I immediately found another doctor that spent a lot of time with me, found I had diminished reflexes on one side and ordered an mri which Dr.Wei refused to do. He said I didn't need it. I would not recommend going to this doctor.
