Dr. Peter Weinstock, MD

Dr. Peter H. Weinstock is a pediatric critical care physician at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Anesthesia Endowed Chair in Pediatric Simulation, where he serves as Director of the Simulator Program (SIMPeds) and Senior Associate in Critical Care Medicine. He is also a professor of anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School and is internationally recognized as a leader in healthcare simulation, patient safety, and medical education innovation. Dr. Weinstock earned his MD from Cornell University Medical College and his PhD in metabolic diseases from Rockefeller University before completing training in surgery, pediatrics, and pediatric critical care at the University of Pittsburgh and Boston Children’s Hospital. His work focuses on using advanced simulation technologies and immersive training environments to improve clinical performance, teamwork, and patient safety in pediatric and critical care medicine.
