Dr. Peterkin Lee-Kwen, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. LeeKwen for almost 20 years. He is very knowledgeable in his field and shares it clearly.

Dr. Lee-Kwen is my 3rd neurologist I have seen for my migraines. After spending roughly 45 minutes with me, he realized I my headaches have been misdiagnosed. For 45 years, I was told I have Migraines, turns out I am a classic Cluster Headaches headache sufferer. This is the first doctor who has taken the time to actually listen to me and take my full life history of headaches which determined the outcome of the misdiagnosis. Dr. Lee-Kwen is working to improve my quality of life with different options for preventative as well as rescue meds. I look forward to my continued visits with Dr. Lee-Kwen and would highly recommend him - much more intimate than the "big box neurologists" and everyone knows who I am referring to. Thank you Dr. Le-Kwen for taking the time to get to know me.

Saw him basically for migraine. Of which was diagnosed years ago. Also al ready go to a pain management. Have also fibro. Instead of help with migraine. Was put on defense over pain med took.. Plus kept saying wrong med I was taking as was. Kept telling me I smoked. When never have in my life.Between him and his physicians assst. Was made to feel degraded. He told me never had migraines or seem appalled that I had fibro. Seem discussed. This was first visit. Needless to say. Very disappointed and made to feel I was dirt. Oh but he will do mri of brain just for the heck of it. Needless to say. Never going back. Never. All that I had was diagnosed years ago. He was more worried about other things than my ? Migraines. Like med took for fibro and oste. My husband even corrected them on med I took. Never ago will I let a doctor treat me like that. Never again. I am a nurse. I am not stupid.

Dr. Peterkin Lee-Kwen insisted on giving me his own idea of my ailment, despite me responding with facts proving the legitimacy of my complaints. His gaze alone almost seemed like it had the intention of intimidating me out of my stance. The difficulty of my condition often results in doctors wanting to rush through my appointment. Disappointingly, Dr. Lee-Kwen was no different. On a positive note, he did refer me to another specialist in the same field and ended our consultation by making it clear he wasn't interested in meeting again. I won't recommend Dr. Lee-Kwen to anyone with challenging health issues.

Not very compassionate

Arrogance .... takes 2 days... walks around on the floor and doesn't bother to see a patient who asked just for a minute of his time... until discharge...
