Dr. Petr Frantisek Hausner, MD

Dr Hausner is the kind of Dr that anyone with Cancer would want on the case. He is patient, caring and an expert Oncologist with years of research and patient care in his past. I know I am in the best hands possible. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

What a great doctor ! Let me start by stating I come from a family of physicians. My father, now deceased, was an Emergency Room Doc for 37 years. I grew up around doctors and gained a great level of insight to " the good ones and the bad ones". In comparison to my experience over all those years , Dr Hausner is an A+. Not only does he have an extensive knowledge of melanoma, he is extremely compassionate, takes time to "listen" to your concerns, and makes a point to sit, explain, and educate you on what you've faced w your illness and what the future holds for you. I made a new friend for life this week. His name is Dr Hausner !

Dr. Hausner is a life saver. After I was told by a top specialist at Johns Hopkins that I had only 2 years to live, Dr. Hausner looked me in the eye and said, "We are going for a cure!" I am now 3 years cancer free. Dr. Hauser is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and progressive which is everything you want in a doctor when you are fighting cancer. When it was determined that I had melanoma, Dr. Hauser immediately began using breakthrough drugs to combat my disease. He remains up-to-date on the latest technology and drugs, giving you a very confident outlook, knowing that your doctor is aware of everything out there to help you in your battle. When you meet with Dr. Hausner, you never feel rushed. He will sit there and answer all of your questions and concerns, which really gives you a good feeling when you walk out the door. You can tell Dr. Hausner is very highly regarded at the hospital and has the reputation for "thinking out of the box". I couldn't ask for a… better doctor and I feel very fortunate that I am his patient.

Dr. Hausner and his staff are wonderful! I am a melanoma patient and I have always felt like he is always putting in time and effort to save my life! He has no ego and has always encouraged me to get more opinions as well as called drs at Hopkins to get second opinions for me!! Highly recommend!!!!

This doctor was one of the worst I've encountered during my search for a credible carcinoid specialist. He fell asleep during my consult appointment while reading through medical records, kept asking the same questions multiple times, interrupted or talked over me when I had a question to ask him, and provided absolutely no help whatsoever. He is rude, arrogant, and pretentious. I would not recommend him.
