Dr. Petra H Hackenberg-Bauer, MD

So far the first almost 5 years of my sons life have had any medical stressors minimized by seeing Dr. Hackenberg-Bauer. She has helped provide great care for our boy and is very patient and knowledgeable. She is also very friendly and understanding. We look forward to seeing if she can take on another baby when the newest is born. She's gained our trust and is a pleasure to see.

While other docs at this practice were fine, Dr. Hackenberg-Bauer proved to be very breastfeeding-unfriendly. She insisted my 2 week old was underweight even though I learned later that a little weight loss in baby after Ceasarean is normal. Said she would hospitalize him if I didn't formula feed him and then scooped him from my arms and attempted to give him forumula when I said I did not want to give him formula. So bad.
