Dr. Petra Joanne Thomas, MD

I was first referred to Dr. Thomas when I was pregnant and showing far greater breathing trouble than is usually expected in a pregnant woman. After doing breathing tests, showing me where on the tests I had trouble, and diagnosing me with asthma, Dr. Thomas spent a lot of time with me allaying my fears about taking asthma medications while pregnant (we now joke that both of my kids were born with the strongest lungs ever!) I have been seeing her for nearly four years now, and during that time my asthma has had its ups and downs, but in all cases she worked with me in terms of time of life (including another pregnancy) and my sincere desire to get off of meds eventually if at all possible. The office staff is wonderful, and the nurses are great as well. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas!
