About Dr. Petula Hom
Dr. Petula Hom-Minniti was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Maryland Baltimore County obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in the Biological Sciences in 1992. Upon graduation, she enrolled at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland Dental School. The degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) was conferred upon her in 1996.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Hom-Minniti practiced as a general dentist for 4 years. She practiced in Dundalk and Catonsville, Maryland for 1 year and then worked as a civilian dentist for the US Navy in Norfolk, Virginia. For 2 years prior to enrolling in her specialty program, Dr. Hom-Minniti was an associate in a multi-specialty practice in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Dr. Hom-Minniti received her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC. She graduated with honors in 2002. She practiced with …another pediatric dentist in Arlington, Virginia for 2 years before moving to Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Hom-Minniti is fluent in Chinese (Cantonese). Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, and running. She is married to Dr. Minniti who is a general dentist.
